Preliminary Task Analysis
In my preliminary task which was made with Seb Fitch, there were numeral things that went well but others that could of been improved. Our biggest blunder and main point for improvement was when one of the subjects say "not much, what's hanging in the"- it cuts out. This was an easy correctable mistake which we shouldn't of made, the clip we recorded didn't cut out, we just cut it too short as when we edited, we did not have the volume turned very high so it was easy to miss this amateur mistake. What we did very well was the match-on-action. For example, during the subject that entered the door, as he jumped in the chair, the frames from the medium shot of him behind, cutting to the over the shoulder shot match up almost perfectly, with the other subject's hand going up and down matched up too. In conclusion, apart from one or two slip ups, the other being the camera angle changing dramatically after the subject that was jumping landing in the chair, the preliminary task went overall, quiet well.
